Knauf training for the benefit of the Central subsidiaries.

At the initiative of the Studies & Engineering Group, training for technical executives, engineers, architects, and project managers from the center’s subsidiaries (BEHA, BEREG, BEREP, and SETAM) was provided by the company Knauf Algeria, which specializes in the production of, among other things, plasterboards, plasters and coatings, profiles, and accessories.

These days took place on May 30 and 31 at the company’s training center in El Achour and focused on dry systems (plasterboards, profiles, coatings, partitions, linings, false ceilings, and construction rules).

In the opinion of the participants, this training was interesting for more than one reason. Two more sessions will be organized soon for the East and West subsidiaries.

International Construction and New Technologie Exhibition BUILTEC 2023

Within the framework of the partnership framework agreement, the GEE Studies and Engineering Group was invited to lead a workshop organized by its partner ANVREDET on the sidelines of the International Exhibition of Modern Constructions & New Technologies BUILTECH in its 3rd edition. The GEE Group was represented at this event by Mr. DERBAH.A, Ms. BENSELAMA.B, and Mr. KHODJA. Contributed by a presentation by Mr. DELILI Rabah, BIM Manager of the BEREG design office, a subsidiary of the GEE Group, on the reverse engineering approach thru Scan to BIM and building information modeling via BIM (Building Information Modeling), which has significantly transformed the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry and its global adoption, deemed high due to its immense advantages.

The reverse engineering approach thru scan-to-BIM has become an integral part of the BIM process (of an existing asset or building) based on data acquired from the survey using advanced techniques and technologies, such as 3D laser scanning and high-definition photogrammetry, which allows for a comprehensive digital reconstruction of an asset to cover one or more use cases.

Reverse engineering is often implemented during rehabilitation, restoration, and renovation operations of infrastructures (buildings, structures, historical sites, etc.), for which no usable data exists, in order to create, manage building information, and benefit from numerous advantages throughout its lifecycle.

This Salon, animated by our 04 eastern subsidiaries GART, SATO, BERM M’sila, BEM Mila and inaugurated by the Governor of the Constantine province, who honored us with his visit to our stand, helped promote the image of the GEE Group.

Closing Ceremony of the Academic Year 2021-2022 - EPAU
Algiers International fair 2022

Events marking June 14, 2022, second day of the FIA 2002

The 53rd edition of the Algiers International Fair, which took place at the Maritime Pines Exhibition Palace from June 13 to 17, 2022, inaugurated by the President of the Republic, is a major economic event.

As a participant, we seized this exceptional opportunity to host at our stand two ceremonies for the signing of framework partnership agreements of a scientific, technical, pedagogical, and possibly commercial nature, one with the Polytechnic School of Architecture and Urban Planning (EPAU) and the other with the Houari Boumediene University of Science and Technology (USTHB).

The first convention was signed in the morning, at 11:00 AM, between Mr. Azzeddine BOUHMADOUCHE, Chairman and CEO of the Studies & Engineering Group, and Professor Kahina Amal DJIAR, Director of EPAU, and the second one, in the afternoon, at 2:00 PM, with Professor Djamal Eddine AKRETCHE, Rector of USTHB.

The main areas of cooperation between GEE-Universities and their alignment with the needs of promoting the tool and national production as a strategic orientation of public authorities clearly distinguish the activities:

  • Joint scientific animation and co-organization of conferences and seminars on innovative themes;
  • Training and research;
  • The study and monitoring services;
  • The execution by the subsidiaries of the Studies & Engineering Group within the framework of a commercial contract for any design, monitoring, expertise, evaluation, technical advice, or other study, duly expressed by the signatory PARTIES.

The signing of these conventions constitutes the natural extension of our group to these two august institutions, both beacons and bulwarks of science and knowledge, hence the mutual solicitation of the PARTIES to jointly establish a technological and, possibly, commercial partnership with the aim of achieving respective objectives in a sustainable commitment.

Finally, it demonstrates a real willingness of the PARTIES to enhance their knowledge and skills, to ensure a technological transfer to national economic activities, and to maintain technological monitoring that allows for continuous updating of scientific information related to offered products and services, procedures, methods, and information systems in order to deduce development opportunities.
